Nice clean store and friendly staff, but the prices have gotten outrageous. Owners and management need to realize people come into the store for spontaneous buys, they rarely know exactly what they want or will find before going in. So charging full blown retail prices on most items is insane. Just because it says Columbia, Under Armour, or Harley on it doesn’t mean it’s worth $20+. Lots of high priced items also have stains and holes. Staff really needs to focus on pricing, research, and inspecting items before they hit the floor.

“They seem to be out for the money.” That’s my impression of City Thrift after several bad experiences. Never with the staff! The staff has been friendly and tried to do what they could. But the policy is meh at best, gouging at worst. With high prices all around like $10 for a damaged book, a no return policy on non-clothing items (even when we could prove that we bought something that turned out to be an empty box with nothing it it), and selling even half used tubs of Vaseline for only 3/4 the price of new, this seems to be a thrift store that’s using all the donations not for the benefit of reselling and reusing but for the money. Which is fine in principle, but the results make for a poor thrift shopping experience.

Thrift City has become my go-to destination for unique treasures and unbeatable bargains. Nestled in the heart of [location], this thrift store offers an unparalleled shopping experience for savvy shoppers and bargain hunters alike.

Upon stepping inside Thrift City, I was immediately captivated by the vast array of items neatly arranged throughout the store. From clothing and accessories to home décor and electronics, the selection is diverse and ever-changing, ensuring there's always something new to discover with each visit.

What truly sets Thrift City apart is the quality of its merchandise. Despite being pre-loved, the items are meticulously curated, with a keen eye for both style and functionality. Whether I'm searching for vintage attire, retro furniture, or hidden gems, I can always count on finding high-quality items at prices that won't break the bank.

cashiers have always been nice... what is up w/ the prices. 8$ for a walmart baby outfit and 7$ for carters pajamas lol might as well by new. the prices have gone way up. gotta be certain employees pricing it differently because there's a pattern... then they sell an actual name brand for 2.99$ lol

Prices are WAY too high for a place that gets their stuff for free. I’m talking candles with the original price tags on them and they’re marked up higher than the original. Same with kids outfits. Furniture is also WAY overpriced. No returns. Customer service is meh.

There was a floor lamp I tried to buy today that they had out without a price tag. I asked if I could make an offer.. thank god they literally took it out of my hands and said to come back tomorrow because I realized on Amazon they were way cheaper than what I was going to offer lol.

Just save the trip and go to a goodwill.

Update: decided to try again 4 months later in hopes that they were taking time to look at the countless reviews on the horrible prices. I was proven wrong to the point where had to leave because it was actually comical.

To the owner: I understand that you are a “for profit” location and I understand that you have employees, a building, other expenses, etc. However there comes a point where you need to start reading the reviews and taking that into consideration. Price gouging on items people are donating is ridiculous. Like I said, I am completely understanding of making a profit.. but the prices are just straight greedy.

I will try returning in a month or so just to see if anything has changed. We will see‍♀️

Attaching a picture of this really great deal on some hangers. $5.99 for a pack of 5! Wow can’t beat that. ?

This Thrift Store is one of the best I have found in a long time. They beat out Goodwill in my opinion and the store is very organized. I have always found items when I visit because I usually look for Jackets/Coats that can be worn with pants or jeans to dress them up. I have also made donations to the store because they are a Veteran based organization. Tuesdays are discount days for Senior Citizens. I highly recommend them because the selections vary and are usually great.

The worst experience for purchase and exchanges. My mom, whom is elderly, bought jeans. They don't gave a fitting room, so she purchased and we drove home. She tried them on. Did not fit. She repeated, as they don't give back money. Ok, the third time, mom now frustrated, cashier was rude, called manager to prove he was correct with not refunding $9.
She grabbed a skirt just yo get our of there, it came to $7. Again, instead of now giving $2 back, we left.
So frustrating. I wouldn't go back even if it was Free.
