I feel like this store gets an unnecessarily bad wrap. I think the buy is generally geared more towards “rapper” aesthetics these days but there are still really great brands on the shelves and the staff is SUPER knowledgeable - especially Tom (Todd? I don’t remember name but the manager lol).

Great store, always a good experience entering and speaking with the knowledgeable sales people. The women’s store across the street too, is beautifully designed around the space. Great selection of more “avant-garde” designers. Would recommend visiting this location over the flushing one for that exact reason:)

I’ve shopped here a few times both in person and online. Needless to say their customer service is simply incompetent. They had sent me a faulty garment where the seams had fell apart and refused to do anything about it. Atelier NY’s excuse was that I had washed the garment, hence, there was nothing to about it. Hi, hello, I hand washed my garment very gently. I also come from a garment construction background and this is clearly a QC issue. DO NOT SHOP HERE. You’ve been warned. Go across the street to Shop Untitled, way better selection and customer service.

Avoid this place like the plaque!!! It’s a scam company!!!!! They are cheaters they cheat you out of your order and the. Lie to PayPal and say they sent it. I ordered two Aesop angles from them. First of all the total was 176.00 and they charged me 186.00 and only sent one candle. When I made a dispute they lied and said they sent two. NOT REPUTABLE!!!! You will see one day they’ll be in trouble for their scam practices.

Every time I’ve been here the staff have always been patient, personable, kind and informative. No matter which season or what piece of clothing I have my eye on, the staff always give me helpful style advice and a brief history into whatever designer may be on the shelves that day. I’ve not once had a bad experience here or anything remotely close to that. In all of my years of shopping at boutiques for higher end clothing, this by far is an experience I go out of my way for every time I’m in NYC, even if I’m not buying anything. Not to mention that the atmosphere and music selection is also magnificent. Everything about the shopping experience feels personalized and fun.

Last week, I was shopping for clothes in the store, and I confirmed the prices with the salesperson, also making sure they matched the tags. After selecting three items, I checked out without carefully reviewing the receipt, which was my mistake. However, I later discovered that the total amount was significantly higher than the price I was told and what was displayed on the price tags. When I contacted the store for an explanation, the staff did not provide any clarification even after several days had passed. I am disappointed by this discrepancy and the lack of response from the store.

Ordered online through Atelier. After I placed the order I had a question about sizing so i called the store. The salesperson was extremely helpful, and looked at the actual item on the shelf for me. Item was packaged well and shipping was fast and free. Thanks again! I would highly recommend this company.

had a great customer service experience all around here. I have previously walked through and no one has spoken to me- I honestly think their style is just more laid back and I like that they don’t hover. Today my sales associate picked out jeans for me that were just to try on with a top and I ended taking them home, too. They have a great selection
