This was my first time going and the menu changes every week but everything sounded delicious with various cultural influences. We had the stuffed snapper plate but two people nearby had the chicken sandwich and the salad with salmon and loved it. The space had great music and all of the guests were talking about our different dishes.

Went to their location at Politan Row in Rice Village. The food was amazing! I ordered the Island Pepper Shrimp and I felt like I was on an island somewhere!! Served piping hot, seasoned to perfection, this place comes with high recommendations! Chef Keisha Griggs is quite knowledgeable and puts it all in the food!

The very best home cooked food you've ever had. The flavor and quality is second to none. The food is better than anything I've ever had at very pricey, upscale, fancy restaurants, and yet they don't charge much at all. A true undiscovered gem, best value for the high quality that you'll ever find. Easy 5 stars, I loved it.

I ordered from Ate Kitchen for the 1st time after seeing Chef Griggs do a cooking demo at the Palm Center for the community. She was really cool, patient and informative. Anyways, i couldn't wait to try her food at HER restaurant and she did not disappoint! EVERYTHING was sooooo delicious, down to the sauces that accompany the dishes.

Still thinking about this meal two months later. The medley of African and American flavors was superb. Fresh crisp veggies, sauces I could eat for meals, hasselback potato cutting through spicy sear of the meat. Wish she had a dinner seating too. We'll be back!

Great local place in Montrose for lunch. Chef Keisha makes flavor packed dishes and is a friendly host. Guava chicken is a must try! Came back with friends to help spread the word, and they all loved it.

So good! Owner is super friendly. I had the Mango chicken with Mac and Cheese and vegetables. I think it was that weeks special as the menu changes. Definitely going back.
